	If you don't come up with a direct replacement, and don't mind a little 
clutter, this might help you:
	take a look at;  <https://www.boatanchors.org/HT37.htm>   It covers a 
cupla different ideas, but there could be something there to help you.
	1:  using a remote Heath p.s to power it up
	2:  solid state any Halli xmtr pwr xmr & remove ant connection to the 
filament supply to the rectifiers
