I would be interested in making contact, off list, with anyone who has, or is familiar with, the Hammarlund HQ-160 receiver.

I would like to compare notes, as I am having fits with the crystal oscillator portion of the 6BE6 converter, not oscillating reliably.

This causes the top two bands, where double conversion is used, to be useless.
