As I recall the little WC6 started out life as a project for the Waco
club. The man behind it was Larry Bush, W5NCD, the president of WACOM.
Larry was a man of many talents and started WACOM (Waco Communications)
doing service work on commercial two-way radios and also running a pager
service in the 50s and 60s. He later began producing duplexers. He once
transformed my Hallicrafters SX-96 from an average into an excellent
receiver.

I do recall seeing ads for the WC6 in the radio magazines of the late 50s
or early 60s. If anyone would have a copy of the manual for the WC6 it
would be Larry. He is listed on QRZ but must be in his 90s if he is still
with us.
