[Boatanchors] NCX-3: part out or sell whole?

Trying to reduce the # of radios I have on the shelf. One of them is a
National NCX-3. Looks to be in decent shape, bought it 15 years or so ago
and never fired it up. I have looked at the specs, etc and it just doesn't
rock my boat so it is time to get it gone. Value is low and I hate, hate,
hate the trouble of shipping it (plus the cost of shipping would be higher
than the value of the radio). And, in any event, I doubt if the radio is
worth more than $30.

I can try selling it locally (i.e. NO shipping) but again the value is low
and doubt anyone would even want it. Economically it might more sense to
strip out the items of value (e.g. sell all the tubes as a lot for $25,
sell all the knobs as a lot for ??? $10, etc) and then scrap the remainder.

Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks for the opinions.
