Any 811-A will work just fine....if you stay below 15m.....

811A should be able to handle 2 KV. I think that's what a manufacturer
(RCA?) told EFJ. You can certainly go with the S.S.
572Bs but I bet they want a fortune for them. How do the Soviet 811As
differ from the ones made here? The old RCA 811As should be able to handle
1.8 KV. You have to watch the plate current and dissipation.
This is not an AM RF tube. CW is okay. Give them a lot of air. I'm sure
you'll get a lot of opinions. I'd try whatever is cheapest first.
