I do have some interest in the Cosmophone, which was a pioneering
effort, but do not like Facebook. I don't understand what advantage
Facebook has over a regular e-mail mailing list like this one. I do
belong to one list on Facebook. I get e-mail notices when there is
something new posted there and then have to open it on my web browser. A
middle man. I get mailing list messages directly on my e-mail client
(Thunderbird). If you can convince me there is a good reason to use
Facebook I would be glad to hear your evidence.
IMO the Cosmophone was many years ahead of its time. I am glad
enough of them survived to justify a web list.
