Did anyone actually BUY anything?  Around here folks haul old gear to
hamfests, and the gear sits out on tables.  Hams come by, look and
reminisce.  They tell the seller about how they used that rig or
receiver years ago when they were stationed on Guam or Africa.  The
seller says, "Oh yeah?  That's real nice."   Then the sellers reload
and haul the old conversation pieces back home.
