    Do you actually see numbers? I see colors but my brain translates 
them to ohm values (for resistors), not quite so quick for capacitors 
because there are different code arrangements. I suppose if you 
encounter very old resistors you could say the same is true. Body, end, 
dot rather than stripes. Allen-Bradley/Ohmite printed the values right 
on the resistor.
    I wonder, BTW, what the connection was between the two companies. 
Ohmite made it clear that their resistors were made by AB, same with pots.
