    A couple of thoughts, since you actually answered a couple of things 
I asked. Should have read more carefully.
    Do you have the instruction book, if not there is one on BAMA. I 
think they also have the construction book since the rig came as a kit 
as well as pre-built.
    Always start with the power supply. Check output voltages from the 
transformer, its good the filaments are lighted, does that include the 
rectifier filaments?
     Check the high voltage outputs. If its there see what is happening 
with the rectifiers. Is the DC output from the rectifiers?
     I would follow the path step by step to see if there is high 
voltage and if its getting to the tubes. If it isn't you can find where 
its stopping. Keep going step by step. After the power supply start at 
one end, say the VFO and trace the signal as far as you can.
     I can't guess without a lot more information but I think if the 
thing is dead the HV is not working and the most likely problem is a bad 
filter cap. Its also possible the tuning capacitor arced over, which may 
have damaged the output  tube.
    There is a chart in the handbook showing all the socket voltages and 
resistances, do the resistance check first (power off and unplugged) and 
then the voltage checks. These tests can often pin point a problem.
     Repost here with your results and definitely if you find the 
problem and what it turn out to be. These are good little transmitters, 
very popular about the time I first got on the air.
