Shows to go ya there's a bright side to many ills in life! Never worked any aurora but my Dad did, also on 6M many years ago. Probably a long shot, but did you happen to make a recording of any aurora signals? Bet most people have never herd same.

Hi Pete,
I worked IN, OH, VA, KY and MD on 6M CW from western NC. Had not worked Aurora mode since I was a kid in upstate NY- some 50+ years ago.

Right now (9 PM EDT 5/10/24) aurora is extending down into central U.S.
Covers all of New England, Middle Atlantic, all of Northern U.S. to the Pacific. And as far South as VA, Kansas, MO, and Kentucky.
