Been using the Johnson TR Switch on my Viking II for years and never a
complaint from adjacent neighbors or in house.
Plus, between satellite, cable, streaming, and new TV's (this isn't the
50's and 60's anymore) WHO CARES. It's not an issue today.
Of course, you can always go back to the antenna knife switch for
switching the antenna between reeiver and transmitter.

The Johnson TR switch was notorious for generating harmonics of the
operating frequency and resulted in many TVI complaints and pink slips
from the FCC.

Johnson offered a fantastic full break-in TR switch back in the good old
days. It's model 250-39. Find them on Ebay, hamfests, etc.
It's not even major rocket science to just build one from scratch. Actual
TR switch circuit is just one tube and a few components.
6 db of gain across many of the HF bands.
