[Boatanchors] Sb-200 problem

My SB-200 band switch knob has been really hard to turn.  It finally
started slipping and i didn't know for sure what band i was operating
on.  Today i took it out to the Kitchen table, she is gone for the day
so i took it apart.  The little ball that sets in a holder and plops
into a depression  was quite tight.  I was able to loosen it up a bit
with a screwdriver and put some lubricant on it.  I can now turn it with
the knob somewhat but it still slips a bit.

Taking the knob off only showed me why it was slipping and i think it's
because the set screws in the knob are not grabbing the shaft
adequately.  They are flat headed.  What i am wondering is are there set
screws with a more pointed head which might grab the shaft a little better.

The other thing that is wrong is that the insert on the knob that goes
against the shaft came out of the inside of the knob  when i removed
it.  For some reason it's really tight on the shaft and i can't get it
off.  Looks like is would need some sore of wheel or bearing puller.
Where would one find something like that that would fit a 3/32nd shaft?

Do anyone happen to have a bandswitch knob for the sb-200 laying around
not being used?

Any other suggestions?
