[Boatanchors] Bucking Autotransformer - use as combination bucking and isolation?

Back in the 1960s, I was a tech in TV Engineering at Zenith Radio. We had a
filament transformer wired up with a double throw switch to boost or buck
the line supplying the DUT. It was called the 'refrigerator bounce test'.
In older homes with inadequate circuit capacity, the line voltage would sag
or jump as the refrigerator compressor cycled. Had to ensure that the
picture size didn't noticably change especially on transformerless B&W
designs.
