Hi Keith,
I have had excellent results using crazy glue- the original version, not the
new flex stuff. Maybe overlap 1/8" or so.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Tuning Cord Repair
Greetings All,
Just took on my first German tube radio but it got damaged in shipping, oh
joy. The dial cord is broken. Rather than go through the process of
re-stringing the whole thing, does anyone know a good method of splicing the
broken cord without losing any length? It would have to be strong enough to
last under constant spring tension. Never hurts to ask. Thanks Keith ve3gem.
