[Boatanchors] Berryville VA hamfest photos 8/4/24

Our hamfests here have become rather dismal.   Some are gone forever
and the ones surviving are barely making it.  No one brings anything
remarkable to sell.  I went to one last Sunday and the best (and only
vintage) transmitter there was a Viking 2 with a pair of 122 VFOs.
One guy had a SX28 ... and he was giving it away for FREE!.
Fortunately someone took it.  This is a great time for a young ham to
be getting into vintage radio because the prices are fire sale.  But,
no one is buying and the young hams are nonexistent.  It's all OTs
trying to unload their stuff on other OTs who don't want it.  It seems
in the East where Nick is, the hamfests look a lot better.
