 I'd think that with that info & the original scale, you might find a similar meter movement & transfer a copy of the scale to the new meter's face.

I have acquired a Precision 10-12 tube tester with a damaged meter.
Finding a replacement would be either impossible or worth more than the
tester so realistically the choice is to attempt to have it repaired or
substituted with something usable and accurate.
The specs for the original meter are 1 MA full scale with 160 ohms internal
resistance.
My question is, with these specs can I substitute a digital ammeter across
a 160 ohm resistor and expect proper operation. Or is there some other
parameter(s) I should be aware of.
