[Boatanchors] KW TS-520 rotary switch repair

[KA2PTE]

Working on a Kenwood 520SE, and the rotary switch in the PA compartment
responsible for the switching on the output tank got butchered by someone
trying to fix it on their own. Picture here:

The wafer goes back together and I cannot locate a good used one from a
junker at the moment, so I may attempt to mend the pieces together.
It looks like bakelite, but not sure.

Anyone ever mended something like this before ?
I am thinking JB Weld is the best bet, maybe contact cement?

Looks like the 2 nuts will allow the section to be removed seperately,
and while I have it open I may as well clean the rest of the contacts in the 
other section
as they are probably dirty.
