Yes, I believe that is correct. Only a few were made (they were very expensive!) so they are rare. Over the years I have found a couple for sale but passed them up because of the tube. No tube - no amplifier. HI
I did have one of the very first A-77’s and later A-77Sx, my all time favorite amplifier!
