Greetings,
I have a Heath IT-12 signal tracer that I am restoring. The front speaker
grill is not so good and I would like to replace it. Instead of a cloth it
is a wire mesh covered with some type of cloth material. It is probably a
light grey color but hard to tell exactly as I am sure the original has
faded over time.

I am looking for suggestions on how to replace, repair or restore this
mesh. Suggestions welcome and if anyone knows what the original color was,
please let me know.
