You can cut a round glass window and even drill the zeroing hole (with abrasives). Tedious but do-able as a last resort.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Wanted Weston 506 meter

I am looking for a Weston 506 style meter. These are the meter type used in an RBA, RBB or RBC receiver. I only need the front half of the case. I don’t need the movement so the donor meter can be from any of the three meters in the receiver. Of course I suspect other military equipment used the 506 style meter too.  The front glass in my voltmeter is broken and the 506 meters have the zeroing adjustment mounted in the glass so I cannot merely replace the glass as can be done in most other meters. I know I might be able to get one of these from Fair Radio but I’d rather give my money to someone who has a parts rig. Thanks for reading. Pictures available on request.
