Thanks, Jerry.
Gotta love it when the block diagram identifies 2nd mixer V3 as a 6BE8 and
the schematic (and in reality) a 6BE6. The two tubes are not even close.
And thanks for the PDF. It's much better than anything else I've seen ....
And I've seen a lot.
I actually think I may have an original manual somewhere ... I bought an
HA-350 brand new from Higgins & Scheer in Poughkeepsie, NY when I was
working there part time during high school +/- 1969. It replaced my
Hallicrafters S-107 and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Propagation
was fabulous back then and I worked the world on CW and AM with my DX-60 /
HG-10.
I now have about 5 of these radios and I'm thinning the herd - but I'll
never be without at least one to use!
73,
Jeff

Hi Jeff.
I have an HA-350 and encountered the same problem with the manual online,
BAMA I think. Also the AVC circuit was different so I purchased an original
Lafayette manual and it was the same as the BAMA manual. I did scan and
post it online to the ebaman site.

You realize this is no help to you but your not alone.
If you should find some better information please let us know.
Good Luck with your project.
