[Boatanchors] W9DUT vhf tri-mode receiver

W9DUT wrote a number of articles in the 50s and 60s about homebrew 
receivers.
One I remember was called the "Space Monitor" which he described in an
early 1966 issue of 73.

I'd start searching in archives of 73, CQ and maybe even QST.
