[Boatanchors] Fwd: help ID a capacitor

     A picture would be of help or even the type of equipment its 
in. RCA made mica caps which were sort of lozenge shaped. Some 
were a sort of funny pink and others sort of chocolate brown. 
These are good caps.
     It is also possible they are flat paper  caps as made by 
Micamold and Solar. These look something like transmitting mica 
caps but are a sandwich using paper dielectric. Micamold 
advertised they had good RF quality and they are mostly found 
where one would normally use a mica cap during the period during 
WW-2 when mica was scarce. Either make should be replaced on sight.
