Actually, you can move plated crystals up,
just like older crystals. WHINK will remove
the plating very quickly, and as a result, immersing
the crystal in WHINK for just 5 seconds can make a
major move in the crystal. How much depends on
the crystal's construction and how thick the plating.
If you try this, have a rinse container ready. Immerse
the crystal in WHINK with a plastic or wooden tool.
It will start bubbling a lot. Remove it in 5 seconds
and immediately, thoroughly rinse it. Dry and see how
much it moved.
