[Boatanchors] Shelby NC Hamfest indicators

Dave, if you don’t mind me giving you my opinion, (and you know what they say about them), don’t live your life with an attitude like that! The Lord’s not going to take you till it’s your time; and when that time comes, it won’t matter how far back in your basement your buried, or how many masks you’ve got on your face, you’re going with him. So just keep your relationship with God up to date and live your life like normal. There’s a true story about how General Stonewall Jackson would ride his horse, Little Sorrel, in the thick of battle, with bullets and shells whizzing all around him, like he was taking a leisurely ride in a quiet pasture, while his men would be begging him to take cover. He simply replied that he was ready and happy to meet the good Lord any time the Lord required him.
Don’t live your life in fear! Trust in the Lord and just go about your business. What’s waiting is so much better than what’s here. I mean, it’s, well…..Heaven! I just know I’ve got a ton of friends waiting on me there, along with a brand new Hallicrafters SX-28 and a pristine Hallicrafters BC 610 with the modulator, antenna tuner and every tuning unit and crystal ever made for it! Not to mention the endless miles of squirrel woods and rivers full of fish, and a 20 year old body to enjoy it all with! Shoot, I might even get my Extra Class license! Just live your life, brother, the Lord will take care of the rest.

73,

Greg Gifford/KG4MMY

Bill, et. al.,

If I can believe the reports on TV(and there is reason to disbelieve
anything seen on TV), the pandemic levels during this Delta phase is worse
than the original. The vast majority of the cases are in people who have
not received the shots. I cannot believe any event is still being held
where people gather, indoors or out.

My wife's sister and her husband both have the COVID and both had their
shots. This is too scary for me. I am now in lockdown for the duration.

73 all,

Dave, K4TO
