[Boatanchors] WWII headphone pads

A caution: the original rubber and leather pads can shrink or
at least the rubber gets stiff and when stretched over the
headphone will crack. There was a later version made of plastic
and rubber. They probably also become degraded with time but are
newer.
The kind that came off flying helmets had leather covering
over the headphone. It may be necessary to cut this out to get
them on. The audiology phones, which are very similar, have
rubber or plastic pads that sit on the ear. I prefer the aircraft
type with the over the ear pads.
I have only ever seen one of the Permoflux sets, either not
many were sold or people keep them. These were widely used in
broadcasting for monitoring.
