[Boatanchors] Has Anyone Built the HB-67 from the ARRL Handbook

I have been casually researching a receiver to build for some time now.  The
HBR in the 1967 handbook keeps surfacing as the prime target.

My junk box is pretty well stocked, but alas so is my calendar.  It will
likely be awhile before I begin - but as is said, that's the one that I find
most attractive.

I have a 455 KC Lafayette mechanical filter I'll probably use in the IF. My
primary concern at this point is sourcing the crystals.

This receiver seems like it should perform quite well, and it should be
fairly straightforward to construct.

I can try my (first) attempt at a Facebook page for those of us who move
forward, or plan to move forward, with this rx.  I think it would be a good
forum to share tips, experiences, and photos?
