[Boatanchors] Seeking Transmitter Design Suggestions

Hi Nick (and List), Thanks for your comments and advice.  Yes the 6AG7/807 is being highly recommended by many here.  I will look closely at that configuration. I sort of like the 5763/6146 configuration as that was popular when I got my Novice in 1968 and I have maybe 8 6146’s in the tube box.  

I would really like to master bandswitching over plug in coils for safety’s sake.  Reaching my hand into a transmitter to remove or insert a coil scares me.  Thanks. 73 Scott WA9WFA
