[Boatanchors] Collins C-200 tube

Hi Larry,  this sounds suspiciously like an Amperex HF200 or close. I’m assuming the base is the jumbo base, not an 811 type base. There are several tubes of this type, many very similar values (Amperex HF series, 810, etc.)  I think most are 1940s vintage. I have a United HV-18, and would bet that within it’s max voltage and current values would substitute for most of the tubes of this type.

I have one of these C-200 tubes.  I'm not finding reference to it on the
internet.  One site mentions the C-100 and

the Collins 30FXC transmitter.  Another shows the C-204 etc tubes but
nothing so far on the C-200.  Not even a date.

It has a 4 prong base and the grid comes out the side of the tube.
Bigger than the 813 with a large plate cap on it.

Anyone with specs or info?
