I think the best thing to do would be to box it up with no packing material then ship it to yourself via UPS.
When you finally receive it after a week or two.....it will be destroyed the rest of the way and you won't feel guilty taking it to the dump.
Or.....just put it on the curb and let someone else pay the dump fee.
You won't have the shipping cost either.......
