I built the Scrounger Transmitter last year from the September 1964 
Electronics Illustrated.  It uses a square brownie pan as a chassis.  I 
found a well used specimen at a local thrift shop.  It was a fun build 
and even more fun to use in the Novice Rig Roundup. There's a picture of 
it on my QRZ page.
