FYI the AL-80 is not even close to a full legal limit amp these days.
Way back 1000W INPUT was the law and for several decades it has been 1500W 
OUTPUT.

Figure on a safe 600W output and a bit less on the higher bands.

The AL-80 was replaced by the 80A and current 80B.
