[Boatanchors] Wanted: Johnson Ranger/Valiant Main Tune Knob

Great question. The phenolic coupling is good as I was inside the VFO
yesterday. It must have been a hard hit though because the knob has a thick
side wall. All I can think of was that something was dropped on the knob or
the radio hit something when being set down on the floor. It's sat on the
SK's floor since the early 1960's. 73, Scott WA9WFA

Hi,

I wonder how a big chunk was removbed from that tuning knob without
destroying the coupler on the shaft inside. There is no end to mysteries.

Good luck with your search. I have the knob but it is mounted on my own
Ranger.
