I'm late in to this thread so not totally sure what is going on.

I have two 6 foot sticks of new cadmium plated IEEE rack railing; universal pattern.
Might have more but can only swear to at least two sticks.

Two barely used Bud Industries standard RR-1364 relay racks on casters.  Would have to
be broken down and shipped in twp cartons.  About 7 foot tall assembled. For a radio console,
you put the relay racks up against the wall and put a operating slab across the front.

One used but decent desk top Bud relay rack RR-1263 (casters available)

All this stuff is strong 1/8" thick enameled or cadmium plated steel.

The pot metal black painted sticks on eBay are cheap if that is your need.

I also have four old vocational school oak drafting cabinets with 4 or 5 drawers each.
Could use TLC: i.e. steel wooling & then careful coat or two of poly-urethane.
