[Boatanchors] WTB: RCA AR-77E manual

    Its possible to get high quality reprints but the manual is 
also on line for nothing.
    I am very curious about the AR-77, particularly in comparison 
to the Hammarlund HQ-120-X and 129-X. The 120 was contemporary 
and seems to have been designed for the same market and price 
point. The 120 introduced the patented Hammarlund crystal filter 
while the AR-77 has a conventional filter. The AR-77 has an 
overcoupled IF but the instructions are very indefinite about how 
to tune it. probably a sweeper is in order. I suspect it may be a 
very good performer.
