I agree with the suggestion re subscribing to ER because it's our
magazine and needs our support. However, to be honest, the best ERs
in my opinion, are in the past. This isn't Ray's fault. You can see
the trend over the years: Hams going SK, the remaining authors
evidently unwilling to deal with big rigs. Therefore, contemporary
issues carry a lot of material about VFOs, novice rigs, VTVMs,
anything and everything that weighs less than 50 lbs. The old issues
are full of BC610 articles, articles on broadcast rigs, KW1s, and
commonly available receivers.
