Hi All,

Friday May 8th is the 75th anniversary of the ending of WW2 in Europe 
and, despite the pandemic,  there will be lots of stations on-air to 
commemorate this milestone. VMARS in the UK and SRS in Holland are 
running a joint AM net on 3615 kc from 0500 UTC using WW2 equipment, so 
if anyone would like to listen or join in there will be a big selection 
of equipment in use, from manpacks to BC-610s and no doubt some TCS 
stations. You don't need to be a member of either society to join the 
net, which is active most mornings around 0630 UTC on AM.

If you're out of range for 80 metres reception try one of the on-line 
SDRs closer to the activity, I can recommend Hack Green and G4FPH here 
in the UK, a search will show many others on both sides of the North Sea.

Hopefully, I will be active on 5260 kc CW using either my TCS station or 
another WW2 set-up during the day as conditions and activity permits.
