[Boatanchors] WTB: Knightkit T-60 Transmitter

Rob and all,
I have a Viking II. Does the Viking I have cathode keying the way the II does? The IIs are prone to key clicks. What I like about the Collins and Valiant transmitters is that they have grid block keying, making it easier to control the wave shape. You get that nice capacitive charge/discharge wave shape.

Bob AD3K

I paid $200 for a Ranger 1 around 9 or 10 years ago and one is enough.
I don't think they're very good rigs (I'm trying to exercise
restraint). Anyone new to vintage radio would do well to avoid them
and go with something like a Viking 1 for AM or CW in my opinion. CW
operators have CW only rigs as options as well, and they are simpler,
and easier to work on. The Ranger is a beguiling rig, all cute and
pretty. Run away!
