I was looking for a piece of MilCom gear about a year ago. Got with a ham who had 5 of them but would not sell any of them! Finally found what I needed about 30 minutes from my daughter's place in Columbia, MD.

A Ranger sold recently for around $1600.  Rangers are nice vintage rigs, but not THAT nice, regardless of the condition they’re in.

They might even be more common than they are, if it wasn’t for the guys who have 20 of them stacked on shelves out in the barn … :-)
