[Boatanchors] Unknown modules.

During a recent shed cleanup I unearthed two modules of obvious US WW2
manufacture, each around 13 inches long and just over 2 inches width and
height with lid just over 3 inches. Each contains  5 x 717a (VT-269) , with
coax connector at one end and male octal plug at the other. All aluminium
construction and lid held down by 3 Dzus fasteners. I would guess that this
is some form of IF strip. Anyone able to identify these and the equipment
they came from. Internal chassis markings D150786 and date 135-Day-44.
