[Boatanchors] Looking for Mark Mears

Robert - FYI - we are seeing a statistical UP-TICK in packages being
1)  LOST by USPS
2) Packages that USPS SAY they delivered, but recipient says it didn't show up at all.
3) Packages showing up after 2-3 weeks (meanwhile we sent our replacements!) - this is for USA DOMESTIC First Class.
 You can say what you want about regulation but any club,
business , enterprise or nation will not do well if it allows
too much chaos like this, IMHO.

Meanwhile we just take care of people and do the right
thing as muich as possible but I will tell you it gets harder
when you are pushing 70, and the grey matter needs
a little recharge! LOL

Does anyone on these two lists happen to know Mark Mears of Harrison, OH?
Several weeks ago he bought a new leather handle for the BC-659 etc. from me
on eBay.  I shipped it and in three or four days the USPS say that they
tried to deliver it but couldn't (doesn't say why).  They say that they left
a notice and that it is at the addressees Post Office available for pick up.
According to their web site, he never has.  I sent him two messages through
eBay and one direct with no response.



It wouldn't be the first time that USPS actually delivered something and
failed to scan and mark it as delivered.  But as he didn't respond to either
the eBay or the direct messages, I thought that I had better check.
