I also have an AR-3A and have not been able to find the exact data for 
it.  A close unit is the ATR-3, a transmitter-receiver package.  The 
receiver section is very similar to the AR-3.  The exception is the use 
of 7 volt loctal tubes instead of the 1.4 volt loctals.  If you do a 
search on atr-3, links to sellers with the SAMS Photofact for the ATR-3 
will come up.
