That's changing. My experience the last couple years has been that
vintage parts and gear will sit unsold unless they are at fire sale
prices (ebay flippers will bite then) or fall into a narrow category
of still sought after boutique (shelf queen or conversation piece)
gear that are in no. 11 condx and plug and play. Anything else,
slightly imperfect or needing some fixer up-ing will sit. What moves
now is mint Howard Mills level 75A-4s, perfect Rangers, light weight
stuff like beautiful Vibroplexes (conversation piece coffee table gew
gaw) and similar. Less of the vintage gear is being purchased for
actual operating.
