on a couple occasions where I purchased something thru Ebay using a credit
card, my CC number ended up being hacked/used fraudulently within a couple
weeks. for whatever reason, it seems Ebay can't seem to secure their
backend databases from getting hacked. Using Paypal to buy Ebay merchandise
solved the issue. Speculation on my part, but perhaps that's why Ebay
instituted that policy.
