Subject: [Boatanchors] Value of vintage electronics on eBay

I have a number old electronics items I would like to put on eBay but I have
No idea of their value.

Vintage external hard drive
(Depends on brand and condition. If it's a recognized "collectable"
brand, like an Apple Quantum Pro, it may have modest value.
Most "Vintage" hard drives of this type, if they get a bid
at all (most do not), sell for less than $20.

Command receiver 3-6 Mhz with power supply
(Depends on model and condition. Photos including
readable ones of the nomenclature plate and markings
are needed to determine a realistic starting bid)

Home made 52 to 54 Mhz down converter to 3 to Mhz using valves
(Home-brew accessories like this, unless very well built and
working, usually get little interest. Take good photos,
open the bid at $5.)

144 – 148 Mhz solid state down converter to 3 -7 Mhz
(Depends on brand and condition. If it's an accessory
for a recognized and popularly collected rig, it may
bring a modest bid. Mention the rig in the listing title,
start the auction at $5 and see what happens.
If it's Un-branded/generic or homebrew, it will generate little interest.
Take good photos, open the bid at $5.)
