First off, I'd like to thank Dave for the two very helpful tips on getting
a bit more volume and response out of the  audio from these. Both items
were not know to me and I appreciate it.

Second, the fellow looking for a RAL, they are out there, put a want on
this list and the army radios list, bet you would find one. Shipping might
be another issue. I found one in the western US for 100.00 but it cost
200.00 to have it shipped here in Canada. And I still think it a bargain,
these sets are wonderful and have an ambiance all of their own.

Wish I had the matching RAK, but my back (and xyl) veto that! (I use the
RAL with a VLF converter).
