Thank you to all who posted their thoughts and
tips
on the RAK/RAL projects.  Excellent stuff!
RAL is close to going back in the case, though 
I haven't found a meter yet.  It will turn up
somewhere.

On those "faded" fiber plates:
Gently burnish them with fine wet steel wool to
buff down
the surface.  Once dry, spray with two coats of 
Satin Clear-Coat.
Look nice now.
