[Boatanchors] HRO 60..... ssb product detector

  G 'day  list....  I  have  read several  references  to  adding a  PD
to  a  HRO  50/60 and ask of   anyone has  done the  mod /addition
described in  QST  for  May 1964.
It is  my  intention to  use  a pair of  USB /LSB xtals  left over  from
a      Collins  KWM-2 in lieu of the  surplus xtals  mentioned in  the
article and  happy  to  take  comment.
The    CWO in  the   HRO   would  be  superfluous .  I  do have  info
from  Emmetts  Fix it  Shop as  part of my
" background  briefing'.
