John,
Be advised that a socket saver may not restore a bad socket position to a good position. Its primary purpose is to keep a good socket from becoming a bad one. You may still have to replace the bad socket.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Socket savers needed for my B&K tube tester
Hello folks with radios that GLOW.
I need 7 pin and 9 pin socket savers for my B&K tube tester. My B&K tube tester is nice but is a refugee from a TV repair shop. It has a 7 pin and a 9 pin socket that is worn out and being a ham that works on vintage tube type equipment, I am in a bind.
If you have any socket savers that will relieve my problem, please let me know and give a price. That will be greatly appreciated!!
