For Sale: Heathkit GP-11 Power Supply
Here is a fine old Heathkit vibrator Power Supply that will develop B plus of 250V DC at 100 mA.
Perfect for Heathkit "BENTON HARBOR Lunch Box" transceivers, and other tube amateur radio gear.

The GP-11 has the convenient feature of being suitable for both 6 and 12 volt inputs. Output is 250V at 100mA.

The Heathkit GP-11 was a modular vibrator power supply, that it was available in kit form. It was also of the last generation of DC-DC vibrator power supplies.
They were being made in the early 1960s era, and unlike Heatkit's earlier VP-1-12 and VP-1-6 vibrator power supplies, the GP-11 uses silicon rectifiers.

Heathkit's vibrator power supplies were designed to be used with their amateur band and CB transceiver kits, but of course were also suitable for many other tube applications.
By 1961, the silicon rectifier technology was well established, and it was more efficient to use solid state diodes than a tube rectifier. The power supply also runs cooler which is all to the good. While a synchronous vibrator would provide the same efficiency as using silicon diodes, one loses the convenience of a non polarised input, unless a reversible type is used.
The power supply was working when tested. With this age it cannot be guaranteed. So the price is set accordingly low and you can enjoy this classic supply with your radio equipment!
WAS $45.00 - reduced to $25.00 firm plus shipping.
Available for $25.00 plus shipping.
